The seismological Observatory of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje started to publish the magazine Повремени изданија (Periodical publication) in 1965, when this institution had the status Seismological station of the University of Skopje. Three numbers of this magazine were issued. The Number 1 of this magazine is a monograph, titled Земјотресот во подрачјето на градот Скопје од 26 јули 1963 година, неговата епицентрална зона, механизмот и условите за постанок (The 26 July 1963 Earthquake in the Area of the City of Skopje, its epicentral zone, mechanism and conditions for its generation). The authors, N. Rustanovič, A. Tokmakov and D. Hadžievski, got the Skopje City prize “13 November” (in the category of science) for 1966.
The publication rights of the observatory date from those times, and they are formalized with an international publishing code.
Up to now, the observatory has published more scientific and professional monographs, as well as proceedings from a workshop within an international (FP7) project. The manuscripts of three new monographs have been reviewed, and they are in preparation for publishing.
