Since early 1980-ties, the Seismological Observatory of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje has been expanding and modernizing its computer equipment. Unfortunately, the modernization of the equipment has been stagnating recently. Thus, the five personal computers, obtained from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Macedonia in 2011 do not cover the deficiencies. Besides personal computers for individual seismic stations and employees, at least three modern professional computers are necessary in order to perform the acquisition and processing of data from the telemetric seismological network in the seat building of observatory in Skopje with modern softwares.
